This week’s music:
It’s a gorgeous piano ballad by a singer at his peak. Some sad news today that one of his son’s died (he’d previously lost one), so it reflects a darkness in the man.
Last week
A difficult one, getting myself back up to speed. Taking it easy and I’m still pretty tired but getting back to being able to take Bessi on a long-ish walk. Hopefully by the end of this week, I’ll be taking her on long hikes.
Managed to edit the series bible for the new thing, which is in a good shape, and today I made some detailed updates to the outline for book 1, which I’m going to start writing next week once my brain is a bit more switched on.
This week
I’ll be doing some thinking and poring over all the ideas for books I’ve generated. I can’t help but think I’ve missed a trick somewhere, but I want to make sure if there’s something exciting I’ve forgotten about then I’ll get back to it. I’ve developed so many ideas over the last eighteen months and now it’s time to start executing them.
Oh, and I should do some more work on the next Fenchurch book.
The hens are back out of flockdown, but lost another one this week. Again, peritonitis — their eggs break inside them and they get infected. Down to four plus Zlatan, so kind of getting to the point where I could conceivably get another couple, but need a few other things to click into space.
Some ducks on the Tweed:
Sorry if that’s been low energy but that’s me this week!
Cheers,
Ed
