In that week where it’s not one thing or the other. Christmas is over, New Year isn’t here yet. I’m not 100% this is Monday, but hey ho! This’ll be a slightly curtailed edition!
Last Week
A short week, but a fair amount done. Cuddly Toy is all proofed and ready to go on Hogmanay, so I hope you all enjoy that when it comes. The short story, not New Year’s Eve. That’s always a bitter disappointment (I jest).
Did a fresh cut outline for SCI-FI PROJECT A, which is almost ready to start writing.
I did this:
This will be the next crime book, which will be April maybe? Got a decent handle on what it should be, just a case of outlining and writing. It’ll be a half-length new book 1 in the series, with a full-length book 5 coming later in the year, entitled THE PRISONER OF WAR.
The rest of the week was doing a lovely family Christmas with my brother and his family, and our parents. Great fun!
Next Week
A few things to do this week, mostly trying a first-cut of THE GUILTY, but also a second pass of SCI-FI PROJECT A to review the mechanics of the location, but I’ve got a decent handle on some of that stuff and there are a lot of cool resources out there. More getting a handle on the details and how it impacts the chapters. Quite excited to write it, but I’ll be stockpiling them over the year to get a rapid release at someone point.
Lastly, the bad news is Bessi went back into the kennels and my fostering of her ended.
But the good news is I’ve NOW ADOPTED HER.
Hope you have a great week.
Cheers,
Ed
Yayyy, I hoped you would be able to keep her. Enjoy your new friendship.
Lovely news about Bessi 😊 Congratulations!
