#last week
Managed to do about 20k of Fenchurch 10, including a really cool scene from someone else’s pov. And somebody else from another book showed up for a chapter, which I might expand out to another one. I’m such an idiot for doing this kind of thing but it’s very enjoyable. Overall, pleased with progress on that.
Did my pass of OPERATION HIGH CONCEPT, which got the thumbs up from my agent. Massive relief but I'm doing some new stuff in that – I nailed down the theme and everything flows from that. The villain, his plan, the crimes, the locations and the cops. It’s all internally consistent. Just need to do a detailed outline and write the bugger!

Just getting on with more F10, really. The tick-tock of write-edit is really paying off with this as I’m doing some sketchy first cuts and beefing them up on the second pass to add character and ramp up the tension etc. I'll be pretty pleased with another 15k, to be honest!
